Create Your Own Overview
Our CREATE YOUR OWN system will allow you to create your own wall quotes.
Type your word or quote in the lines provided. Each line is supplied separately (ie- not as one block) and you can space them as you choose.
Each line is supplied with the letters pre spaced on a transfer tape that helps you install the line as one piece. The only thing remaining on the wall after installation will be your perfectly spaced vinyl lettering.
The background colour in the preview area is simply to help you visualise the lettering if your wall is not white. There is no background on the supplied product.
The price will automatically change depending on the number of letters and the size. The price does not change for colour or font.

How to create a larger first letter than the rest of the sentence…
- Use the first line to design the first letter only. Choose the font, colour, size required.
- Use the second line to design the rest of the sentence. Choose the font, colour, size required.
- We make each line separately so during application you can space and arrange the larger letter in many ways including overlapping the sentence.
How to overlap the design…
We make each line separately, so if you wish to overlap then this is something you control during application on your surface. Our preview only previews the lines separately, so use your imagination to visualise the overlap, or you can browse our gallery for ideas.
How to work out the height of the design…
The choice of sizes for ordering is 7cm, 10cm, 15cm and 20cm. This refers to the height of the tallest upper case letters. Upper case = capitals and bdfhklt etc. Therefore you need to factor that the tails of the g/ q/p/y etc will add additional depth to each sentence and adjust depending on the font.
How to work out the width of the design…
Width of words and lines are almost impossible because every font has a different width of letter and the space between letters. The width of your design will vary between 10-40% based on the font chosen.
A very rough way to estimate is to take the height you have chosen- ie 7cm, and divide it by 2. Then times this by the number of characters. For example- the words “ Hello Dolly” has 11 characters including spaces. If you chose 7cm high, the average width will be 7cm divided by 2 which = 3.5cm and x 11 characters. So the width will average around 38.5cm.
The same example but selecting 20cm high will be 20cm divided by 2 which = 10cm and x 11 characters. So the average width will be 110cm wide.
If you have a particular width you are needing to stay inside, then please indicate during checkout in the Notes about your order what that size is and we can make sure the design stays within that width.
How to do lettering larger than 20cm…
Due to the LARGE nature of these 20cm + letters we highly recommend that you email us to discuss your requirements. Many customers under estimate how extremely wide sentences become with even the slightest increase in letter height.
